Offering support & accommodations

to First Nations, Métis and Inuit youth in

Western and Northern Canada

Spirit of Our Youth respects First Nations, Métis and Inuit teachings, culture and practices. Through our services, we strive to make children and youth healthy and whole; to establish a sense of identity and pride and encourage growth. We generate self-awareness and personal understanding. Familiar teachings and traditions include sweats, smudging, language, pipe ceremony, feasts, traditional healing, dances and customs. We nurture traditional, personal and growth values. All services include access to an Aboriginal Resource Person or an Elder.

Spirit of Our Youth has been providing quality services and programming to First Nations, Métis and Inuit children and youth since 2000. We are a Fee for Service agency, based in Edmonton, Alberta. We accept referrals from throughout Western and Northern Canada for children ages 3-23 years. Our clients are children, youth and families in need of support who are experiencing  developmental and emotional issues, abuse, mental health concerns, abandonment and addictions. All programs are offered in Edmonton and serve youth from all over the Province of Alberta. We also accept clients from other areas including Saskatchewan and Nunavut. Our services include Group Homes, Supported Independent Living (for older teens), Family Support, Youth Work, Drives and Supervised Visits.
